The Super Bowl halftime show has always been an incredible Marketing opportunity for any performer who takes the stage and this year was no different. Artist and Entrepreneur, Rihanna performed at this year's super bowl and it had all the markings of a classic super bowl halftime show. Incredible production, iconic discography, and powerful choreography. But one thing stood out to me. And it was this moment below.

Rihanna is the CEO and Owner of Fenty Beauty, a cosmetic line she launched in 2017 that's worth almost 3 billion dollars. And that’s Fentys Setting Powder, which she stopped mid-performance to re-apply. Rihanna hasn't released new music since 2016 and has been clear about being done with music. So why perform? Her team couldn't pass up the incredible opportunity of putting the star in the world's most expensive commercial ever, the super bowl halftime show.
Although it's normal for performers to gain an even bigger following after performing, this will be the first time a singer doesn't grow in music, but in product! The Fenty team are geniuses. Oh, and that signature red lip she has on? They just released that product, two days before her performance!
