In 2021, 21.6 Billion parcels were delivered across the United States. With online shopping at an all time high, how can a brand differentiate their product all the way down to its packaging experience once it hits a consumer's door step?
It is important for a company to consider packaging as a part of their brand too. How a box looks when it arrives can signal to the buyer how to feel from the very beginning of the process. The next thing the buyer experiences is what they see when they open the box.
Big Bud Press does a great job of this. They’re a small brand that focuses on being inclusive and favors a younger population. When you open one of their packages, there is a small, bright booklet that greets you and explains more about how they make their clothes. They also include a fun poster you could put up that centers the branding of the BBP. This “unboxing” experience gives added value to the purchase and to the brand!
Companies need to think of their packaging and opening as a part of the entire experience of their product!
